Commercial Pub Cleaning Checklist
Front of House (Bar Area, Lounge, Dining)
- β Empty all bins and replace liners
- β Clean and sanitize all tables, chairs, and barstools
- β Wipe down and disinfect the bar top and service counters
- β Clean bar equipment (beer taps, soda guns, coffee machines)
- β Dust all shelves and surfaces
- β Sanitize high-touch areas (door handles, menus, POS machines)
- β Sweep and mop floors with appropriate disinfectant
- β Vacuum any carpeted areas
- β Spot clean walls, baseboards, and doors
- β Straighten furniture and arrange seating
- β Clean condiment caddies, menu holders, and other tabletop items
Restrooms
- β Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, and sinks
- β Wipe down mirrors and countertops
- β Empty sanitary bins and trash cans
- β Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towels
- β Sweep and mop floors with disinfectant
- β Check and report any plumbing issues (leaks, clogs)
Kitchen (if applicable)
- β Clean and sanitize countertops and prep surfaces
- β Clean exterior surfaces of appliances (fridge, ovens, fryers)
- β Sweep and mop floors with degreaser if necessary
- β Empty and sanitize kitchen bins
- β Wipe down sinks and faucets
- β Refill paper towels, soap, and sanitizer stations
- β Spot clean walls and backsplashes
Other Tasks
- β Restock cleaning supplies as needed
- β Ensure all cleaning equipment is cleaned and stored properly
- β Report any maintenance or health/safety issues
- β Set alarms and secure all doors (closing shift)
